Sewing in the Sun

The sun made a brief appearance today, so I just had to sit in it's rays and sew for a bit. I didn't seem to accomplish much sewing but it sure felt good to soak up a little vitamin D.

I enjoyed stitching time with my featherweight.
It was around minus 18 degrees outside this afternoon, so it's best to stay indoors and sew!

Your little log cabin block is so sweet. I love the blue and yellow together - a very happy combination!

I love your feather weight! I like the white ones better then the black ones!

Such a pretty block. So bright and cheerful to go with that sunny weather. Glad you got some vitamin D time.

Lucky you, you have sun! It has been very cold here but this week was a busy one. Two guild meetings and a knitting afternoon with friends, now today is catch up on time away from the sewing machine!
Your little log cabins are cute...I know you they are probably very small!!!

Pretty log cabins! That's too cold to think about. Meanwhile, in California...

It's COLD here (-15 wind chill when I got up this morning), but the sun is shining. As soon as I'm done reading blogs, I'm going to go sit in my recliner and quilt ... I won't get any direct sunshine on me, but hopefully the sun shining in will help warm up the room.

I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that adorable little log cabin block! How are you going to set it?

Beautiful color gradation in your log cabin block!
So you have a blue "White" machine. Do you call this white machine "Blue"?
Sorry, couldn't resist. : )
I'm off to my Mom's to sew this afternoon and I am taking my featherweight, Nellie, along. They are very fun for a sew-in, aren't they?

Glad you have this sweet machine to sew your little blocks on. Using up your scraps! I am thinking the Scraps MULTIPLY overnight! Still trying to corral all of mine!

there is nothing better to me than feeing the warmth of the sun on me, how I hate to be cold, here it is at freezing point so think i might treat myself to a little bit of heating, will have a bath first to thaw myself!

I thought it was cold here! Stay warm. Love the colors in the log cabin block behind your machine. Looking forward to seeing what project that's going into.
