TGIF

As per my usual Friday routing, I am posting my most recently made Circa 2016 blocks. The blocks on the left are the new ones and they are called "double X". I'm not seeing the X in this design, but they were fun blocks to sew.

Temecula Quilts is hosting the Patchwork Olympics on their blog with lots of interesting happenings, including a fun scrappy pattern that is free while the olympics are on ... check it out here.

love those blocks. You know for the longest time the civil war era fabrics were not a favorite of mine but they have grown on me and the more I see these and from a few other blogs here and there I know when day when I start to buy more fabric (trying to use what I have right now) that type will be one I will be getting some of.

Beautiful blocks!
I had to look twice, but Oh My... I love that little fussy cut lamb/sheep.
Such fun.

I don't see the x either, but they are pretty blocks anyway.
